Mawlamyine Information

The Tie Ta Hitong Monastery is located beyond Thaton. If you're from Mawlamyine, it will take about 1.5 to 2 hours one-way by bike. The old pagodas that really feel history, Monastry, I thought simply that such a pagoda is a good thing.

Mahar Myatmuni Buddha Image is a pagoda next to Kyeik Than Lan Pagoda. The scenery from here is also quite good, but Kyeik Than Lan Pagoda is recommended. If you have time, why not go for a walk? It takes about 5 minutes from Kyeik Than Lan Pagoda.

There are many small pagodas in the vicinity of Kyeik Than Lan Pagoda and temples. This is also a hill, Sunset, the cityscape is a very beautiful place. Running on a rental motorcycle, it is very pleasant to run around this by motorbike taxi. If there is time, I think that you can take a walk around this area.

U Kanti Buddha Image is an ordinary pagoda, but in front of this pagoda is an observatory. The cityscape of Mawlamyine and the view of Bilugyun Island, which is next to Mawlamyine, are great! There is also an observatory on the back of this pagoda. It is better to go to the observatory more than going to the pagoda.

To be precise, the pagoda next to the Lawkamhaneku Pagoda. Because it is a pagoda on the to of the mountain, the view from here is really great. On the way to this pagoda (almost next to it) there is also a Hindu temple.
